Digital Art: Drawing Stone, Fire, Water, and More (Procreate, CSP, Krita, Etc.)

In this 2-week class, students will learn how to digitally paint/digitally draw a variety of materials and elements. Students will be guided through a series of self-paced lessons teaching them everything they need to know about rendering fur and hair textures, wood textures, moss textures, stone and rock textures, water and fire.

The couse is designed to build up your confidence when it comes to rendering your digital paintings. You will be learning to render a variety of materials and elements in isolated parts as the instructor models the concepts being taught. You will practice the skills taught in the course alongside the instructor as well as during the time you set aside for yourself to practice. The more practice you have applying what is learned in class to real life objects (i.e. mountains, campfires, bushes, etc.) the stronger and sharper your skills will become as an artist. 

The instructor will provide you with a jpeg file going over the steps on how to render each material and element as covered in the class lessons.

The instructor will be drawing digitally throughout the course using his preferred software: Clip Studio Paint. The material taught in class can be applied to any digital art software because the instructor will primarily be using basic brushes that can be found in any art software.
