Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Since my Oh! the Ocean class has been so much fun, I created another class to explore even more sea creatures! You can still take this class if you missed Oh! the Ocean class. The classes can be taken in any order. This is a flexible schedule course, it does not meet live yet there will be plenty of interaction. Teacher will share a video slideshow lesson presentation. There will be a video with the teacher demonstrating a coordinating craft that students can follow along to. There will be a Nearpod interactive collaborate board where students can draw a picture and see other students' work. Students are encouraged to share completed crafts to the classroom so that the teacher and other students can view your work. There will be a weekly Kahoot quiz that students can coordinate to take together for a challenge, or take alone to test their knowledge of the week's lesson. Printable activity sheets will be posted weekly to the classroom as well as End of Week Notes. Lesson materials will be posted each Monday 8 a.m. EST. Each Kahoot quiz and End of Week Notes will be posted on Fridays 8 a.m. EST. Students can comment, ask questions, and communicate via the classroom and the teacher will respond as soon as possible. Each week we will explore a new creature that calls the ocean home. Class schedule is as follows: Week One: Seal Students will learn about the seal via slideshow presentation and conversation.
