Learners will review their multiplication facts/times tables through 12s and practice using fact families for mastery. Learners will review what multiplication and division means and review the rules of basic multiplication and division. Learners will review their times tables and use them to learn how multiplication and division are related. I will use slides, lectures, games, and video clips in my lessons to review with and engage learners. Learners will be expected practice their skills on paper or a whiteboard during class. Learners should have knowledge of or have been previously taught the basics of multiplication in order for them to truly understand the relationship between multiplication and division.

Learners will review and have a better understanding of their multiplication and division facts through 12s.
Learners will apply what they already know to help them understand the relationship between multiplication and division so that they may have a better mastery of the facts.
