Beginner - Advanced Level
In this ongoing 1-on-1 class, students will learn and practice multiplication and multiplication facts. What a student learns and practices will depend on the child's prior experience and skill level with multiplication. Each session will be tailored to the child's skill level and ability. Sessions are scaffolded to meet the child's learning needs while still helping them to grow toward skill proficiency. Students should be proficient with their addition skills with and without regrouping to the hundreds. Students should also have experience with skip counting. Week of 9/11- Informal assessment to determine skill level Week of 9/18- Introduction or review of multiplication Week of 9/25- Multiplication fact dependent on skill level Week of 10/2- Multiplication fact continued or different fact dependent on skill level

The student will increase multiplication skill level and proficiency.
