US Grade 2 - 5
Students will learn all about different types of owls, their habits, how they are useful, and common myths about them. Students will view a slideshow identifying many types of owls and interesting facts about them. They will also watch a short video with more helpful information about owls. Toward the end of the lesson, students will learn how to draw an owl. There will be ample discussion time on student opinions and common misconceptions of owls. The main goal of this lesson is to teach students how awesome these creatures are and how important they are to the environment.

Parental Guidance
There will be pictures and videos of lots of different owls and their habits in the wild. They may be shown eating or capturing their prey. They may also be shown fighting with or killing other animals.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
