In this one-time class, students will meet Aunt Sam. The learner can share likes, fears and anything of interest. Aunt Sam will explain the Homeschool POD and how it will be taught! A simple oral assesment of the learner will be made.

Come join this one time class to learn all about Aunt Sam and the HOMESCHOOL POD of Language Arts and Math for grades K-3! As a veteran Homeschool Mom of 25 years, Aunt Sam has taught her 9 children to read, write and do arithmatic. :) She is excited to help you and your learner on your Homeschool Journey. In this one-time class, learners will be able to understand what Aunt Sam expects in the POD, get a feel of her teaching method and understand what the learner can expect from Aunt Sam!...
I have homeschooled my 9 children for 25 years, teaching them a wide range of subjects from grades K-8. I am familiar with and have used a variety of different curriculum. The curriculum suggested in the Materials section is the curriculum I used the most with the children. I am also, a substitute teacher for my local school district, teaching mainly elementary grades. I have taught many classes in public, private and community classrooms. This is a Meet & Greet Aunt Sam class.
