Students will meet in a live class. Teacher will share an interactive slideshow lesson then lead the class step by step through a fun fine-motor skills coordinating craft. Week One: We will explore the way leaves change color in a teacher led lesson followed by a step by step fun coordinating craft. Printable Activity Sheets will be posted in the classroom along with a fun, interactive Nearpod lesson where students will take a virtual field trip to see beautiful autumn leaves. These are for after class to do on your own as extra learning activities. Week Two We will explore the apple orchard and learn about the life cycle of an apple. Printable Activity Sheets will be posted in the classroom along with a fun, interactive Nearpod lesson where students will take a virtual field trip to see an apple orchard. These are for after class to do on your own as extra learning activities. Week Three Students will learn about the art of delicious apple cider making and engage fine motor skills with a fun craft. Printable Activity Sheets will be posted in the classroom along with a fun, interactive Nearpod lesson where students will take a virtual field trip to see a cider press. These are for after class to do on your own as extra learning activities. Week Four Students will learn about the scarecrow, the important role it plays on farms and engage fine motor skills creating a fun, scarecrow craft. Printable Activity Sheets will be posted in the classroom along with a fun, interactive Nearpod lesson where students will take a virtual field trip to see a scarecrow in action. These are for after class to do on your own as extra learning activities.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of various aspects of autumn. They will explore materials and engage fine motor skills creating a weekly craft. Creativity is sparked as children are encouraged to express themselves in their craftwork.Other Details

Adult assistance may be needed for various aspects of the weekly crafts. Scissors are used for the crafts and adult assistance may be needed.
