In this 2-day small-group class, you will learn how to write numbers 0-9 legibly using correct formations. This is for children just learning to write or who need a review of number writing.

In this 2-day class, we will learn to write numbers 0-9. We will use the Handwriting Without Tears method which is great for decreasing reversals. Students will practice writing numbers on a Magnadoodle (magnetic drawing board) followed by practice with pencil and paper. This class is appropriate for children just learning to write or for those who need practice in number writing to decrease reversals. Day 1: 1,2,3,4,5 The first session will begin with introductions, followed by practice of the "starting corner" numbers 1-5. We will take each number step-by-step using our magnadoodles and will then practice on our worksheets. Worksheets will be finished after class as homework. Day 2: 6,7,8,9,0 The second session will begin with a quick review of numbers 1-5. We will then practice the last two "starting corner" numbers 6-7 and then numbers 8,9, and 0. We will take each number step-by-step using our manadoodles and will then practice on our worksheets. Worksheets will be finished after class as homework.
Learning Goals
Students will learn correct number formation for numbers 0-9.
