Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Intermediate Level
  • 1. Verbalize the 3 rules of handwriting legibility 2. Identify legibility errors on a prewritten sentence. 3. Self-correct legibility errors while writing sentences.
Drawing from 25 years of experience as an occupational therapist in schools, I am able to provide valuable insights and techniques. However, it's important to note that these sessions are purely educational and are not intended to serve as therapeutic interventions. My expertise is limited to handwriting instruction on this platform.
This class is geared towards learners who struggle with handwriting legibility. I support learners of all abilities and focus a lot on strategies that support the unique learner.
Learners should have basic handwriting skills and be able to write a sentence within an average length of time. My goal is to spend no more than 3 minutes on each question.
Notebook paper with lines
Pencil or writing tool
I base all my classes on the Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum and the Size Matters Handwriting Program.
