Description
Class Experience
Students will learn color words, how to spell color words as well as bring an item to show the targeted color we are looking for.
Encourage your child to find items around them to bring to you. Have your child state what color it is, spell it for you and use the sentence frame: “This is ______. (color word).” The ______ (item) is ________ (color word.)”
1 file available upon enrollment✔️ Pick one: Pretend glasses, magnifying glass, toilet/paper towel roll or hands to use for “spying”. ✔️ Toys/objects (students get to go bring a nearby item) **The file is merely a welcome picture. NO file is needed for this class.***
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will ask comprehension questions to check for understanding and use the items showed during the game as a form of assessment.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
When instructed to find an item, ensure your child walks (not run) and ensure they take less than a minute to bring an item to show.
