โœ”๏ธ 2 clear 16 oz plastic cups, glass cups or jars (plastic preferred for safety) โœ”๏ธ 1 bottle or 2 cups of tap water โœ”๏ธ 4 cups oil (Baby or cooking oil) *If using baby oil, please remove the cap so it be easily poured as it takes a while to squeeze it out of the tiny hole.)* โœ”๏ธ 2 food coloring (any colors) โœ”๏ธ 2 glow sticks (any two colors) No glow sticks? No problem. Add them in when you get them. โœ”๏ธ 4 Alka-Seltzer or Walmart's brand Equate tablets (NOT the gum version) or effervescent tablets. (If not, you may can use baking soda (4 tablespoons) as an alternative, BUT the tablets are preferred for BEST results.) โœ”๏ธ 1 Flashlight or phone for a flashlight โœ”๏ธ 1 curious kid! =) ***FOR BEST RESULTS, I suggest conducting this experiment in a room where you will be able to make it dark when itโ€™s time to turn off the lights or close curtains/ blinds.*** NO file is needed for class.
