Do you know what capillary action is? Let's find out together! In this fun-filled science class, students will learn how we can get water to "walk" with a colorful science experiment. ๐ถโโ๏ธ๐ง Students will learn the scientific method which includes how to make observations, form a hypothesis, conduct an experiment, ask questions, draw conclusions and report results. ย 1 file available upon enrollmentโ๏ธ 4 EMPTY CLEAR cups or jars (equal sizes) โ๏ธ Water (enough for each cup and set aside as we will fill the cups together IN CLASS.) โ๏ธ 1 spoon โ๏ธ Food coloring (4 different colors) If don't have 4 colors, no problem. We will mix them. Alternative: liquid paint (NOT watercolors) โ๏ธ 3 sheets WHITE of paper towel โ๏ธ 1 curious kid! =) Kindly note that if you do not have the supplies, students are still allowed to join the class and merely follow along. That way, they can still learn the process of how to make it and they can also conduct this experiment after class. ***There is NO file to download or print for this class.***
