My mischievous stuffy Piggy has run away! Luckily, she left some clues about where she is but I cannot figure them out. I need you and your stuffed animal detective skills to help me solve the mystery. Students will work together to help me find my missing stuffy, Piggy, based on riddles that lead to her destination. For example, students may need to solve "What is the second letter in the alphabet?" in order to fill in the word "be" in the clue "Stuffed animals like to _ _ with their...
Students will develop their problem-solving skills by figuring out riddles. They will practice deductive reasoning as they put the clues together to discover the answer. Students will collaborate and get to know each other as they team up to solve this mystery.
Pen/pencil and paper (helpful for solving some of the clues) Stuffed animal (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
