In this class we will discuss a different side of Disneyland than most park attendees will ever see. We look at behind the scenes activity, how Disneyland makes everything work, surprising secret tricks that make your trip more enjoyable, ways that Disney tricks you into experiencing the park with multiple senses, and even the pets that call Disneyland home! A portion of the class contains insider tips and tricks to make your next Disneyland experience exciting and memorable. This class is taught mostly in a lecture format, although there is time at the end for small breakout sessions where students can interact with each other and discuss what they found most interesting. *Warning* - This class discusses logistics of how a company is run and operated and can expose some of the "magic" of Disney that appeals to younger students. This course should be taken by students who want to learn how Disneyland handles day to day business, employee secrets, and hidden ways Disney makes your trip memorable.

Arizona Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education
Bachelor's Degree in Education from Northern Arizona University
Hello families! I’m Amanda and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your learner! I love everything about education and feel consider being a teacher as part of who I am. It is my passion!
I have a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, two active teaching licenses in Arizona and reading and ESL endorsements. I've been teaching since 2017 and I'm working towards a master's in child and adolescent development.
My goal as your learner’s teacher is to inspire them to be lifelong learners. Learning is scary and requires a lot of vulnerability to take chances knowing you could make a mistake. I pride myself on helping students feel safe, confident, and secure in themselves. I’ve always seen tremendous growth in students when they are in an environment that allows for them to safely make mistakes and learn from them.
I’m looking forward to meeting your learner and joining them in their educational journey!
