Class Experience

To be able to grow in confidence in learning how to do long division 
To be able to complete exercises in long division
To be able to be able to ask questions for clarification.
To be able to explain working out / strategies and steps.
I have been teaching Year 6 and SATs for over ten years. I am an experienced classroom primary / elementary school teacher and head of year. I have taught in London, North Africa and the Middle East and am now based in the U.S.  With many years of experience and enjoy helping children progress in their academic journey. I pride myself on ensuring that the materials are educational and engaging and that children leave the lesson knowing more than they started. Progressing and moving forward with confidence. I have also completed many training courses to help children become better writers, readers, speakers and mathematicians. I am looking forward to you joining me!
There will be weekly and daily tasks - these can be done daily or all at once to suit family schedules. 
Paper Squared paper Pencil Pen Printer Access to a scanner or a camera / device that can upload completed work.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will be feeding back in the classroom to learners and individually as well as to parents. 
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There will be times that I will send links to useful videos. In order to access some of the resources you will need to have access to Youtube. You will not need to have a Youtube account and the links will be sent through the. Outschool platform. Children will need to be supervised when watching Youtube videos,

I will be providing resources to support children. 
- Learners will need squared paper although I provide different types of printable squared paper pdfs - learners will need an access to a printer.
