Calling all learners! Watch out for the tornado! Join me to explore tornadoes and visit some famous places. We'll see a tornado in action and learn about historical tornadoes. Tornadoes are fascinating but dangerous – let's learn some cool facts and new words. And remember – get to safety if there's a tornado nearby. By the end of this session, you'll earn your honorary expert certificate! I'm excited to hear what you already know about tornadoes. There are fun, optional activities before and after class to help you learn more and work with others: Learn tornado facts Upload a video about a tornado Write a report on a tornado's effects on people, animals, and plants Share amazing facts Write an informational report Watch videos to learn more Record a pretend news report about a tornado and post it in the classroom Each activity will earn you a digital sticker! Parents: Good reading skills are key to passing exams. This fun lesson will help children improve their non-fiction reading. I will share my screen via Zoom so children can read along and discuss the material. Children will learn new vocabulary, which is crucial for good reading comprehension. This short lesson will give children focused time to practice and improve. Our goal is to make reading and discussion fun! What will we cover in this lesson? What is a tornado?
