US Grade 1 - 5
In this class, your learner will be practicing mathematics skills such as: number, shape and space, times tables, word problems, algebra and angles - and each lesson is centered around a specific goal. My aim is to provide support, clarifiation, extension and challenge. Tuition is a great option and can be very helpful if: * A class teacher has raised an area of improvement that your child needs to work on. * Your child would like more practice / extra help or extension work. * There are some areas of learning that they missed out on perhaps switching schools or moving to a new place. * Your child would like to spend more time on a specific area. About me, I am a very experienced teacher with UK, US and international school experience. I am very good at what I do so I can adapt to what your child needs. I try to make learning as fun and engaging as possible so that your child feels comfortable and enjoys the lesson. I am looking forward to helping your child reach their goals. Mathematics is an essential skill to have in their academic toolkit and it helps with all areas of the curriculum and daily life. In the time between each lesson, the classroom is open and there will be homework and challenges set. There is also the opportunity for home work and asynchronous learning in the Outschool classroom related to the lesson. I teach a variety of lesson lengths and always feel free to book a one-time trail lesson to see if this class is a good fit for your learner. If you don't find a time that suits you - feel free to message me.
