Beginner - Advanced Level
In this one-time advanced long division beginners class, students will practice long division dividing 1 digit by 2 and 3 digits. Students should have already learned long division and need practice with the long division that they have learned previously. The teacher will demonstrate working long division problems and students will practice problems with the teacher. Students will also work problems on their own. Students should have experience with long division and could still be a beginner needing practice. Students should know their multiplication facts as well as their division facts. Example problems could be 43 divided by 3 or 593 divided by 8. Let's practice long division problems!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Outschool!
My name is Ms. Julie and I'm excited to meet you! I teach Reading, Math, Writing, ESL (English As a Second Language), and other subjects too. I've been an educator and teaching for over 20 years in both brick-and-mortar and online. When I'm not teaching, I can often be found tutoring online or in person. My experience includes working with preschool to high school students with a lot of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups. I have an elementary education K-6 grade license as well as a math 5-8 license and a K-12 ESL (English As a Second Language) License. I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years also. My masters in reading has been a great resource as well.
Every student can learn and I believe we all learn in different ways. I love to have fun while learning! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my furry friend or time with family and friends.
