Class Description:

This class will help learners practice grammar in an engaging and interactive way, building strong foundational skills for writing and communication. Students aged 6-12 will work on sentence structure, parts of speech, punctuation, and other essential grammar topics through hands-on exercises and activities. This class is designed to make grammar fun and accessible, helping learners gain confidence and accuracy in their language use.

Class Experience:

In this class, students will explore a wide range of grammar topics, including sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, nouns, verbs, adjectives, punctuation, and more. Each class is structured to introduce a topic, provide examples, and guide students through exercises to apply what they’ve learned.

What will be taught?

Students will practice essential grammar skills and each lesson explores grammar rules and practice. 

Topics Covered:

We will cover sentence structure, parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc.), punctuation (periods, commas, question marks), and how to form clear and correct sentences. We’ll also focus on grammar usage in writing and speaking.

Class Structure:

Each session will begin with a short introduction to the day’s topic, followed by examples and guided exercises. Students will have time to work on practice activities, where they’ll write their own sentences and correct grammar mistakes. There will be opportunities for group discussions and individual feedback.

Teaching Style:

My teaching style is patient and engaging. I aim to create an environment where students feel confident to ask questions and share their work. 

Interaction:

Students will get plenty of chances to interact with me during each session.  I will also provide individualized feedback on exercises to help each learner improve.

The lesson will have a traditional approach to grammar (while aiming at being fun) to ensure that learners have sufficient practice with each topic.
