Class Experience
In this lesson, learners will have fun listening to "Animalogy - Animal Analogies" by Marianne Berkes. This book has many different animal analogies with wonderful illustrations. After the book, we will play an interactive analogy game, where the students get to control the screen using their computer mouse or touch pad. Then we will make a flipbook of analogies. This class is great for children who are just learning about analogies, or to provide extra practice for learners who already...
Students will improve their understanding of analogies. They will also be able to listen to a story and share analogies from the story. Students will get to practice using analogies during an interactive game. Finally, students will be able to create analogies in a flipbook.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need the attached printables as well as scissors, a stapler, and a pencil. Crayons and markers are optional.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental guidance is needed when we use scissors. Thank you!
