Grammar Tales: Rosie's Walk With Prepositions
Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 1
In this lesson, learners will learn about prepositions by listening to a short story about a hen named Rosie. Although unaware that a fox is after her as she takes a walk around the farmyard, Rosie still manages to lead him into one accident after another! After the story, we will watch a short musical video from School House Rock about prepositions. Then, we will play a fun interactive preposition game, where the students can control the screen using their computer mouse or touchpad....
Students will improve their understanding of prepositions. They will also be able to listen to a story and be able to share prepositions from the story. Finally, students will be able to read a variety of prepositions as they make their craft.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents will need the printable of Rosie the hen and her preposition feathers, a pair of scissors, and tape or glue. Crayons or markers are optional.
