Most work will be done in class in during Zoom screen share to explain and do the questions online onto teacher's resources. Student is encourage to use mouse, or computer pencil or computer pen and complete the math questions together on the screen during Zoom screen share.
Assessment
Informal assessment will be done through in class activity and quiz.

Class Experience

US Grade 6
We will be teaching Grade 6 Math.  The class may have worksheets and activities. We may use games, slides, video, images, manipulatives to teach the material. We will be using the interactive whiteboard on Zoom so students are encouraged to share their responses using a mouse, in the chat box or using a drawing tablet. Previous Grade 5 Math experience or knowledge would be recommended because the curriculum moves quite fast.

I have over 17 years of teaching experience in classrooms and in one to one tutoring settings. I believe in lifelong learning. I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Elementary with a Math and Science specialization. I also completed a Diploma in Early Years Education, Certificate in Kindergarten, Diploma in Special Education, and Certificate in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have worked with student ages from Pre-K to Grade 12.
