1 hour per week. Please note: there is no homework assigned for this class. The 6B textbook will be taught in class where we complete all questions and go over the 6B textbook questions during class time. The 1 hour project time is for students to study and look over the questions we have gone over from the 6B textbook during the week because the content builds so it is important for students to understand the concepts as the units progresses and prepare for the final exam at the end of the course.Mastery Evaluation

US Grade 6
We will be teaching Grade 6 (6B Primary Mathematics U.S. Edition Workbook). The class may have worksheets and activities. We may use games, slides, video, images, manipulatives to teach the material. We will be using the interactive whiteboard on Zoom so students are encouraged to share their responses using a mouse, in the chat box or using a drawing tablet. Previous Grade 5 Math experience or knowledge would be recommended because the curriculum moves quite fast. *Tentative Schedule: (Note: progression of lesson may vary depending on the needs and understanding of students) Please see syllabus Please note: The topics will not cycle back to the beginning and new topics will be introduced in upcoming weeks in this order.

I have over 17 years of teaching experience in classrooms and in one to one tutoring settings. I believe in lifelong learning. I graduated with a Bachelor of Education in Elementary with a Math and Science specialization. I also completed a Diploma in Early Years Education, Certificate in Kindergarten, Diploma in Special Education, and Certificate in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have worked with student ages from Pre-K to Grade 12.
I believe every student can learn and each student may learn differently. My job as an educator is to teach students and provide them with new challenges that stimulate their own thinking and inspire them to enjoy learning.
