Class Experience
US Grade 3
The class will begin by briefly discussing what the student has learned about division so far. Then, we will go over any notes from class or the textbook used by their teacher at school on that topic. The student is welcome to share their screen with any content provided by their school teacher, or just discuss with me. After this, I will assess their current understanding and ability to do mental division with oral questions, then we will complete an example of long division on the whiteboard. After establishing the main source of the student's struggles, I will work with them through adequate questions and activities to solidify their understanding. Students are welcome to use their own notebooks or write entirely on the white board provided on the computer screen.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
My name is Rose Bobiarska. I work with elementary students to develop their understanding of content covered in school curricula. I also have experience in helping students who struggle with dyslexia and dyscalculia.
My first goal for every student is that they are up to speed on everything that is going on in their classes at school, and that they go to school feeling confident about what they're learning.
Once we have that taken care of, I work to draw out the best quality of work from every student, whatever that may mean for them individually.
I hold my students to high standards, which I set to reinforce the progress they make on their learning journey.
The subject areas I work in most often are language arts (reading and writing), math and science. However, whenever students come with struggles in other areas, there is almost always a way for us to work together still!
