Each week, you’ll uncover fascinating topics like disease prevention, nutrition, pollution, and access to healthcare—learning how communities worldwide tackle major health challenges.  

This highly interactive class blends storytelling, problem-solving, and hands-on activities to bring public health to life! We’ll kick off each session with an exciting health mystery or real-world case study, then dive into engaging discussions, group challenges, and fun games. You’ll analyze real data, watch short video clips, and brainstorm solutions just like a global health expert. 

With nearly 20 years of experience working in diverse international settings, I’ll guide you through the exciting world of public health, making sure every session is packed with energy, discovery, and critical thinking. Get ready to explore, question, and solve big health challenges—because the world needs more young problem-solvers like you!

Week of March 6th: The Case of the Missing Clean Water – Investigate why some communities struggle with safe drinking water and brainstorm solutions to bring clean water to everyone.

Week of March 13th: The Case of the Spreading Sickness – Track a mysterious outbreak, learn how diseases spread, and discover how public health experts stop them before they become pandemics.

Week of March 20th: The Case of the Hidden Dangers on Your Plate – Uncover the truth about nutrition, food access, and how what we eat affects health around the world.

Week of March 27th: The Case of the Polluted Air – Explore how air pollution impacts health and create action plans to help communities breathe cleaner air.
