Learners will gain both confidence and skills in creating simple digital artwork, suitable for on-screen display and export to other apps. The class is designed to support the learner at their own pace and to encourage creativity and independent thinking skills. The class can also be booked by learners who have already explored the Procreate drawing app and who wish to take their skills further. In this case, it is recommended that parents contact the teacher via the Outschool messaging system to discuss their learner's needs. This class can be taken as a one off learning experience or rebooked to enable further development of skills. As a basic introduction, the class will cover: • Opening and managing the Gallery • Using Brushes • Creating Lines and Shapes • Using Color • Building Images with Layers • Using the Symmetry tool to support with drawing • Saving and Exporting your work Learners will need to be able to watch the teacher demonstration on a different device to the iPad that they are working on. Learners should ensure that their iPad is charged and that the Procreate app is fully installed. It is advisable to have a graphics pencil to draw with, such as the Apple i-pencil.

Learners will need to be able to watch the teacher demonstration on a different device to the iPad that they are working on. Learners should ensure that their iPad is charged and that the Procreate app is fully installed. It is advisable to have a graphics pencil to draw with, such as the Apple i-pencil.
Supply List
For this lesson, you will need access to the Procreate App on an i-Pad or i-Phone, and a suitable compatible drawing pencil, such as the Apple Pencil). This class is best delivered if you can work on your iPad whilst watching the demonstration on a different device. This will allow you to watch the demonstrations while you are drawing on your device.
