Beginner Level

In this one time class, students will have fun playing a game on Bamboozle to help build their multiplication and division fact fluency. At the beginning of class I will give a 5 minute lesson on how to solve multiplication & division facts that you don't know. Next, I will share my screen and we will began our game on Bamboozle (students do not need to log in). Students who need help solving the problems will get reminders of strategies to help them solve it. Students should not use calculators for this class. 
*Each class I will show different math problems, so students can join this class as many times as they would like.

Bamboozle game directions/rules:
Each student will choose a number to flip over, behind the number will be a multiplication or division problem for the student to solve. If the student gets the problem correct, they get a point. If they get it incorrect they do not get a point. Behind some of the numbers are "Power Ups". Power Up include: Lose points, Win points, Take points from a player, no points. At the end of the game the student with the most points name will be displayed.

Students will become more fluent in multiplication and division.

Parental Guidance

I will share my screen to play a game of Bamboozle. Students will not have to log in.

Learners will need the following:
paper & pencil or white board & marker to help solve math problems.

Hello I am Mrs. Keyuanna Evans. I am the teacher your child will never forget! 
I have a patient teaching approach and strongly believe in verbal praise, positive correction and having fun while learning. I hope to build students' confidence and inspire them to learn. As a teacher, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child engage and having that "Light bulb" moment when they understand something.
I graduated from Virginia State University with a Masters in Education with a focus in Special Education. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Recreation and Physical Education. I have been teaching elementary school for over 17 years. I have taught students in general education and students in Special Education. I have taught in both private and charter school settings.
In my everyday life, I am a wife and mother of one sweet 14 year old girl. I enjoy watching movies and spending time with my family.
