Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
In this 5 day class learners will do a deep dive into 3rd grade fractions. They will learn how to partition shapes, understand equal and unequal parts, unit fractions, how to represent a fraction and how to compare fractions. 
Monday-Find something that is partitioned into equal parts. Bring that item to class tomorrow to share with the class. Be ready to tell how many equal parts it has and the unit fraction. 
Tuesday-Find something that is partitioned into equal parts. Bring that item to class tomorrow to share with the class. Be ready to tell how many equal parts it has and the unit fraction. 
Wednesday- Khoot game will be sent
Thursday-Find something that is partitioned into equal parts. Bring that item to class tomorrow to share with the class. Be ready to tell how many equal parts it has and the unit fraction. 
Learners will need the following: paper/journal book pencil crayons or color pencils
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be observed each day during our game time. At the end of the 5 days all parents will receive  personal message explaining the strengths and weakness I noticed from their child during the course. 
3 hours 45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
