Class Experience

US Grade 3
In this 5 day class learners will do a deep dive into 3rd grade fractions. This class is a good introduction for 2nd graders going into 3rd grade or for any 3rd grader who had difficulties with fractions. Students who take this class should already know how to draw a circle, square & rectangle. Each class will be taught using Google slides. I will demonstrate the skill, we will practice together and we will end each lesson with an engaging game.

We will cover the following skills over the course of 5 days:
Monday-understanding equal and unequal parts, partitioning shapes (rectangles, circles & squares) & understanding unit fractions
Tuesday-Understanding Parts of a whole
Wednesday-Representing Fractions on a number line
Thursday-comparing fractions
Friday- Fraction Fun Review Game Day
