"Would You Rather"-Opinion Writing Camp

In this Multi-day camp students will practice opinion writing by answering "Would You Rather" question prompts. First, we will play a quick game of would you rather. Then, I'll introduce the writing prompt. Together we'll brainstorm pros and cons for both options. Students will be able to use the sentence starters to write their opinion in a short paragraph. They'll state their opinion in a complete sentence and then provide at least three reasons to support their choice. I will assist...
In this on-going class we'll use "Would You Rather" prompts to work on opinion writing skills. Students will go through the writing process brainstorming, writing, and sharing their opinion to create a short paragraph.
