The purpose of this course is to help intermediate level readers deepen their understanding of a variety of texts through employing many core reading strategies. Comprehension is a crucial part of the reading process. Practicing these strategies will help your learners improve their comprehension of unfamiliar texts. - Students will improve their understanding of 7 types of intermediate reading strategies to deep in their reading and comprehension skills.
I have over 20 years of elementary teaching experience, as well as 10 years of brick and mortar learning support teaching experience, with a focus in Reading and Language Arts.
Printable handouts will be provided the day before each class. Learners will only need pencil and paper for our lessons.
