Dynamic Dinosaurs a Lesson and a Craft Live Class

In this 5 week live class, students will learn about a new dinosaur each week and create a dinosaur craft!

Class Experience

This is a live 5 week class. Students will meet online with teacher. 
Teacher will share a slideshow where we will learn about a different dinosaur each week. 
We will then create a coordinating dinosaur craft together, engaging our fine motor skills.  

The class schedule is as follows. 

Week One: 
Tyrannosaurus Rex
*What does Tyrannosaurus mean?
*When did the T-Rex live?
*What did they eat, were they carnivores?
*Were they fast or slow?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the T-Rex via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A T-Rex craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along step by step. 
There will be PDF printable activity pages and and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson posted to the classroom after class for extra learning on your own. 

Week Two: 
Pterosaur
*When did they live and are they really dinosaurs?
*What does Pterosaur mean?
*They had wings, did they have feathers?
*What did they eat/
*What is a paleontologist? 
*Much more!
Students will learn about pterosaurs via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along step by step. 
There will be PDF printable activity pages and and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson posted to the classroom after class for extra learning on your own. 

Week Three: 
Triceratops
*How much did they weigh?
*What are their horns made of and what were they used for?
*They were herbivore, what is an herbivore?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the triceratops via video and slideshow presented by the teacher.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along step by step. 
There will be PDF printable activity pages and and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson posted to the classroom after class for extra learning on your own. 


Week Four: 
Brachiosaurus
*How much did they weigh and how much did they eat?
*Did they have any predators?
*Where can we see a skeleton of an almost complete brachiosaurus?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the brachiosaurus via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along step by step.

Week Five: 
Stegosaurus
*When did they live?
*What is a fossil and where were stegosaurus fossils found?
*How large were their plates and what were they used for?
*Was this a smart dinosaur? What size was its brain?
*Much more!
Students will learn about the stegosaurus via video and slideshow presented by the teacher and a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.
A craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along step by step.

Torn Yellow and green paper, torn into small pieces
Glue
Scissors

Week Two:
Printable From Classroom
One empty toilet paper roll
long piece of yarn...about 24 inches
crayons or markers
scissors
glue
paint and paint brush 

Week Three:
1 Large Paper Plate
Printable from classroom
scissors
Light Green Paint
Dark green Paint
Paintbrushes
Brown Crayon

Week Four:
1 Toilet Paper Roll
One Paper Plate half
