Scientists used to think that the dinosaur extinction was caused by volcanoes. Now they think it was caused by a massive asteroid strike near Mexico. We look at new exciting evidence from the last hour of the reign of the dinosaurs!

Class experience

US Grade 2 - 5
To discover and learn without realising it, because you are having fun! By the end of this course students will understand the evidence for an Asteroid impact and volcanism around the time the dinosaurs went extinct. They will also get a really up to date review of emerging evidence of the last hour of the dinosaurs.
I have a BSc in Geology and an MSc in Geophysics and have chosen the most interesting and exciting subjects to teach to get young minds fascinated by Earth Sciences.
This class talks about mass extinction events and this may be distressing for some students.
