Class Description "Community Builders" introduces students to the concept of community partnership and its role in creating positive change. Students will explore SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by learning how collaboration and teamwork can address community needs. Through interactive activities, such as developing action plans and working on community projects, students will understand the importance of civic engagement and how they can contribute to meaningful change. This course empowers young learners to become active participants in their communities. Class Experience Over four weeks, students will engage in community-focused activities, from brainstorming community needs to developing and executing action plans. The course will begin with a lesson on the importance of partnerships, followed by project planning and collaboration on a class community project. Students will reflect on their contributions and celebrate their impact by the end of the course. The class structure is highly interactive, with group work, discussions, and presentations. I use a collaborative teaching style that encourages teamwork and problem-solving. Students will regularly interact with me during project planning and execution, as well as with their peers during group activities.
