This one-time class on the founding principles of the US government is designed to be interactive, discussion-based, and engaging for high school students. We will discuss the historical context of the US government's founding. When the Founders wrote the US Constitution, they didn’t pull their ideas out of thin air. They created a government based on a set of fundamental principles carefully designed to guarantee liberty. We will explore the core principles and then each learner will choose one principle to design an infographic represent its meaning and importance. By taking this class, students will gain a comprehensive and relevant understanding of the foundational principles that continue to shape the US government today.
