Do you want your child to understand more about the United States government? This fun & engaging class will use a mix of interactive activities and teacher-led instruction to these specific social studies topics.

1-2 hours per week. Projects to be completed at home and sent to the instructor prior to the next class. Some projects will be presented or shared in class.

Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner Level
Learn U.S. Government from a lawyer with years of government experience! This 10-week introduction to U.S. government will be taught in a fun, engaging & interactive manner with a mix of instruction, games, books, videos and online resources. Weekly I will provide parents and students with an hands-on activity to do at home to further their understanding. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, and share information they know about the topic we are studying. 

The main topics of the course are understanding the 3 branches of government, checks and balances, voting, being a good citizen, and symbols of our country.
