Beginner Level
Learn U.S. Government from a lawyer with years of government experience! This 10-week introduction to U.S. government will be taught in a fun, engaging & interactive manner with a mix of instruction, games, books, videos and online resources. Weekly I will provide parents and students with an hands-on activity to do at home to further their understanding. I encourage students to participate, ask questions, and share information they know about the topic we are studying. The main topics of the course are understanding the 3 branches of government, checks and balances, voting, being a good citizen, and symbols of our country.
