Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 6
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Discover the microscopic world that shapes all living things in this engaging 8-week course for 5th graders! Students will explore the fascinating structure and function of cells, the foundation of life on Earth. Through videos, activities, projects, and lessons, they will learn about the cell theory, compare plant and animal cells, and investigate how cells work together to form tissues and organs.

The course also dives into the world of bacteria and viruses, uncovering their roles in health and disease. From observing cells under a microscope to viewing and creating models, students will develop a deeper understanding of how life operates at its smallest level. By the end of the course, they’ll be equipped with scientific knowledge and critical thinking skills to explore the connections between cells, organisms, and the broader world around them.
