In this class learners will create a dog drawing! This is a hands on class where students will be creating the project as I demonstrate. I will be doing a guided drawing of the animal. Students can choose what kind of background for their image. I will show students several examples to help with the brainstorming process! No prior knowledge is needed. Students have the choice of media-markers or color pencil will all work for this project. I will be demonstrating in colored pencil and medium marker.

1. Drawing paper: 8.5x11 printer paper is fine 2. Black Marker 3. Chosen art media: students can use markers or color pencils to finish their work

I believe creating art is a process. It takes making a mess, mistakes and trying again! Creating art is a method of communication with the world!
