In this 5 lesson course we will learn how to draw using 1 and 2 point perspective! I will be demonstrating the project sand techniques in a series of step-by-step videos & slideshows. Lesson 1: What is Perspective? This lesson we will go over what perspective is and how artists use it to create realistic drawings. In this assignment we will draw cubes using one point perspective. The final project this lesson will be writing your name in one point perspective! Lesson 2: This lesson you will focus on using our knowledge of one point perspective. I will demonstrate a project where we will draw a cityscape using one point perspective. Lesson 3: This lesson we will draw our Dream Bedroom! We will continue to use one point perspective to create our drawing. Lesson 4: This lesson we move onto 2 point perspective! We will start by drawing cubes again, but in two point perspective. I will introduce how to draw other 3D shapes as well. Lesson 5: In the final lesson we will draw our Dream Home! This week we will use two point perspective to complete our drawing.

One Point Perspective- Cubes & Name
In this lesson students will learn the basics of one point perspective. Students will practice drawing cubes and then move to a final project of drawing their name using one point perspective.

In this lesson students will continue applying one point perspective in creating a city drawing.

One Point Perspective-Dream Room
In this lesson students will continue with one point perspective and create a drawing of their dream room!
Lesson 4:
Two Point Perspective- Cubes & Create
In this lesson students will learn the basics of two point perspective and how it differs from one point.

1. Drawing paper- at least 10 pages 2. Ruler 3. Pencil 4. Thin permanent marker- I will be using a Sharpie Ultra Fine Point in demonstrations 5. Colored Pencils or marker set

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have taught a variety of courses over my career such as: Fine Arts 1 & 2, Introduction to Photography, Pottery 1 & 2, Introduction to Jewelry, Introduction to Crafts, Introduction to Sculpture, Design 1 & 2.
I believe creating art is a process. It takes making a mess, mistakes and trying again! Creating art is a method of communication with the world!
When I'm not creating art, I love cooking, reading, spending time with friends & family!
