The leaner will be assessed with informal feedback. Each week I will ask students "What are you most proud of in this week's work?" and "What would you work on/rework if you had time?". Students are welcome to inquire for feedback on specific drawings.Class Experience
In this 4 lesson course, we will draw fall & Thanksgiving themed drawings! Each lesson I will post a video demonstrating a guided drawing. These videos will show students step by step how to create the artwork. Students can personalize their background and make creative choices. I will show students several examples to help with the brainstorming process! No prior knowledge is needed. Students have the choice of media-markers, watercolor or color pencil will all work for these drawings. I will be using marker & color pencil in my demonstrations. I will show students how to create shading in their drawings to bring dimension to their artwork. Lesson One: This lesson we will draw a Fall Squirrel. Lesson Two: This lesson we will draw Pumpkins. Lesson Three: This lesson we will draw a Fall Landscape. Lesson Four: This lesson we will draw a Turkey.

1. Drawing paper: 8.5x11 printer paper is fine 2. Black Marker 3. Chosen art media: students can use markers or color pencils to finish their work

I have taught high school art for 18 years! Last year I had the opportunity to teach middle school students remotely and loved it! I have taught a variety of courses over my career such as: Fine Arts 1 & 2, Introduction to Photography, Pottery 1 & 2, Introduction to Jewelry, Introduction to Crafts, Introduction to Sculpture, Design 1 & 2.
I believe creating art is a process. It takes making a mess, mistakes and trying again! Creating art is a method of communication with the world!
When I'm not creating art, I love cooking, reading, spending time with friends & family!
