US Grade 3 - 6
While they may have lived alongside dinosaurs millions of years ago, these winged creatures aren’t dinosaurs at all! In this one-time class, students will learn all about these ‘winged reptiles.’ We will discuss their history, what makes them different from dinosaurs, and adaptations that allowed them to be successful in the air. This class will be more of a lecture style (yet interactive) class with a PowerPoint, photos, videos, and fascinating facts. We will have conversations about these creatures and students are encouraged to ask questions and discuss (although are also welcome to just absorb the information if they prefer). At the end of the class, we will play a short trivia game about what we’ve learned. Participation in the game is optional and students are welcome to watch or answer privately.
