US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
This lesson will be broken up into three parts, one part for each geological rock layer during the Mesozoic Era (the Triassic, the Jurassic & the Cretaceous Period). During each part we will discuss how the super continent of Pangea changed over time, how mass extinctions changed the environment, and how animals called the dinosaurs grew to such enormous sizes. Students will also learn that not all dinosaurs lived together, depending on the time period they lived in or where they lived on Earth. • The lesson will include a 20-25 minute presentation followed by a prehistoric social that includes a question and answer session. • Learners are also encouraged to bring their dinosaur toys and figures to share with the group after the presentation. • A FREE dinosaur research guide will also be available for learners to use before or after our lesson.
Learning Goals
Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of the Mesozoic Era when dinosaurs roamed our planet. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a dinosaur actually is, what our planet looked like 65 million years ago, and how mass extinctions have diversified animal species overtime.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Roar! (which means hello in dinosaur of course).
Do your learners love dinosaurs as much as I do? Unlike most adults, I continued liking dinosaurs as I got older! I've been educating and entertaining children all about dinosaurs and prehistoric life since 2018 when I started my small business named Stomp Chomp Roar.
I offer courses all about prehistoric life from Paleozoic Era sea creatures, Mesozoic Era Dinosaurs, Cenozoic Era mammals and all the rock layers and fossils in between.
My ambition is to bring the excitement of prehistoric life and the study of paleontology to children in an educational and an entertaining way.
I enjoy grilling Jurassic steaks, reading about the past & working on new projects.
