Pre-Algebra Grade 7th Math - Fractions Boot Camp Class We will review all about fractions needed to master 7th grade Pre-Algebra. This class will be a perfect refresher for all students starting 8th grade this fall. Topic: Fractions - Students will review equivalent and mixed fractions, as well as addition and subtraction of proper and mixed fractions. The lesson will be presented in the PowerPoint format and students will engage in an interactive math practice using Zoom White Board. The teacher will provide individual attention and ensure that students have reached mastery. The lesson will end with an interactive Boom Learning Game. Teaching style: Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the session. All learning styles are welcome. This lesson is specifically designed to address all learning styles.
Learning Goals
After this lesson students will:
- be able to make equivalent fractions, convert mixed fractions into improper fractions and vice versa.
- be able to add and subtract proper and mixed fractions
