Description

Class Experience

This semester-long course will examine differences. Students should expect to read at least 6 books during this course. We will closely read each text and discuss the history (if applicable) behind the story. 

A Night to Remember: The Sinking of the Titanic by Walter Lord
The Words We Live By: Your Annotated Guide to the Constitution by Linda R. Monk
Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo
Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O’Dell
The Wolves in the Walls by Neil Gaiman
The Graveyard Book...

Students will be given a reading assignment for each class. Each week class discussion is drawn from those passages.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
