Astronomy II - Stargazing, Constellations, Quasars and Black Holes

Students will learn about Messier Objects – A French Astronomer – Charles Messier (1730-1817) identified these 100 objects and categorized them by brightness – and how to earn their certificate for viewing these objects from the Astronomical League Messier Club. Students are asked to spend at least 15 - 30 minutes a week stargazing using either apps, PCs, binoculars, telescopes or their natural eyes the various constellations.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
