1:1 Writing Class (Ongoing)
In this 1:1 course, students will develop a creative writing practice, learn a variety of literary elements, & workshop their original writing. Forms include poetry, prose, persuasive essay, metered verse, lyrics, short story, and speeches.

1 hour per week. Assignments will be given on a weekly basis to bring to the following weeks class. Assignments vary in time, but typically will require 20 minutes to an hour. This can be adjusted depending on students needs.Assessment

In this private class, students will have the opportunity to learn at their pace the elements of creative writing in a comprehensive and individualized setting. They will workshop any style piece of creative writing they are working on for a class, event, application, publication, or personal use. They will be able to ask questions, discuss their ideas/vision for the piece, and receive tips for organization, word choice, grammar, and tone. Teacher Leif will help guide the piece of writing to support their unique writers voice come to life!
Learning Goals
Students will participate in an individualized curriculum to learn tips and tricks on developing and editing their writing.
