Unleash Your Imagination! Creative Writing Class!

Is your child bursting with creativity? Are you looking to develop your child's creative skills? This Creative Writing Class for ages 8-10 offers a unique opportunity for young minds to explore storytelling and enhance their writing abilities. They'll learn to craft stories, express themselves, and make new friends along the way! Learners are welcome to join the class at any time. 

Although some class content will build from the previous week, it will not prevent the new learner from understanding the concept we are covering during the current week. For example, some weeks, learners may choose to continue a writing piece they started in a previous class.

I believe in meeting learners at their current academic level and providing an encouraging learning environment to facilitate meaningful learning. Learners should come to class with paper and pencil or know how to use Google Docs if they prefer to type. I encourage discussions and lots of interaction but also understand some learners prefer to refrain from participating and enjoy listening to class discussions. 

This class will include a mini-lesson, group practice, and independent practice. The mini-lesson will consist of the new teaching point. Participants will engage in fun activities that foster creativity and critical thinking.

**This is an ongoing class, so join anytime, as new concepts will not depend on previous classes. Although some weeks' content will build from the previous week, it will not prevent the new learner from understanding the concept we are coving during the current week.**
