[Reserve Your Spot with code: REACH4MORE5 Before January 31st!] Boundless Reach is growing—just like your child’s potential! We’re ready to offer your family more options for creativity and fun. To celebrate, enjoy $5 off your first class. ________________________________ Does your learner wish they could think faster on their feet, create captivating and funny stories, or feel more confident in front of a group? Are they the kind of creative spirit who lights up a room—or one who is grappling with how to express themself? This improv class is their chance to discover how creative and capable they truly are. Your young performer in training will be guided to the edge of their comfort zone, where they’ll discover that facing the risky unknown is their opportunity to grow. (And it’s fun!) They’ll uncover the courage to take risks, the joy of collaborating with others, and the confidence to shine in front of an audience. By embracing challenges, they’ll build skills that go far beyond the class, empowering them to face bigger stages and bolder adventures with self-assurance and creativity. All in an environment built on acceptance and ridiculous fun. As the founder of Boundless Reach Studio I’ve been teaching this class for 5 years now and I’ve seen it a thousand times: That moment when your learner takes a chance, gets a big reaction from the rest of the class, and then they instantly grin, beaming with pride from the thrill of success. It is in that moment they learn that in this class: they cannot fail. Each class begins with a fun warm-up (make sure they’ve got room to move!) before diving into group games and improv exercises. Your learner will explore essential concepts like listening, making and accepting offers, raising the stakes, characterization, storytelling, and more—all designed to help them build confidence and unleash their creativity. They’ll have the chance to create scenes, develop characters, and experiment with storytelling techniques that bring ideas to life. By the end of class, they’ll take on exciting improv challenges inspired by shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? and based on classic improv techniques by such greats as Keith Johnstone and Viola Spolin. Here’s a sample of what your learner might explore during their first 10 weeks of class: Week 1: Introduction to the Basics Week 2: Making and Accepting Offers Week 3: Characterization Week 4: Stagecraft: Locations and Objects Week 5: Working with Props Week 6: Advancing vs. Exploring Week 7: Collaboration Week 8: Active Listening Week 9: Adding to Offers Week 10: Scene Structure Whether your learner is just beginning their acting journey, looking to refine their skills, or just wants to laugh and have fun, they will be looking forward to this class every week. (And guess what: so do the teachers!) But don’t take my word for it. Read the reviews! Thank you so much for considering our classes. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing your learner in class! Gordon W., Founder Boundless Reach

Other Details
Parental Guidance
I make best efforts to avoid politics and religion but sooner or later a student will cast him or herself in the role of a religious leader or famous politician, or set a scene in a church or the Whitehouse etc. This is drama and make-believe and it is important to the process to let their imaginations open up. That being said, while I maintain a safe zone of inclusivity for all faiths and ideologies, hate speech, prejudice or cyber bullying will not be allowed and parents will be notified.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have been a professional actor in film and television for many years. I've travelled to exotic shoot locations, won awards, was a lead on five different television series. But none of that is what makes me a good drama teacher. What do I think makes a good drama teacher? Marvel. I never cease to marvel how much the techniques I learned in theatre school as a kid still help me to this day. I never cease to marvel when a child "gets it" and comes up with a new idea and is overcome with joy and pride simultaneously. This is the "magic" you hear actors and filmmakers talk about all the time. And I am ever humbled by it. As our children spend more time in front of the computer, I strive to give them a chance to experience that magic and spark their imagination.
