They are encouraged to create dynamic characters using their voices while practicing inflection, emotion, and motivation. Students will not only become more fluent and expressive readers, but they will also become more empathetic actors! (If your child is already a fluent reader and is at least 9 years of age, check out the advanced version of this class here:...
Students will not only become more fluent and expressive readers, but they will also become more empathetic actors by participating in this reader's theatre class. This is an acting and a reading class. Students will improve his/her reading fluency by following along while other readers read and reading out loud with expression, enthusiasm, and creativity!
There are not many things more rewarding than being a part of a play! As the owner of a children's theatre, I've directed and produced hundreds of plays and musicals and have worked with kids in many capacities. I passionately love seeing kids develop academic and life skills through performing arts activities!
Homework OfferedRead more plays!
Teacher will share her screen during the class for students to read the play. No scripts will need to be printed!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
