This is a comprehensive class designed to help beginning readers with reading skills, sounding words, vocabulary and reading comprehension.  Help your child soar into the first grade!  

This language arts enrichment course is  taught by a certified teacher and Reading Specialist using the Science of Teaching Reading principles. 

This class is a great fit because students read a different story in each session. For every story, students engage in discussions and answer questions on:

	•	Phonics
	•	Vocabulary
	•	And more


This class is different from others because it follows a curriculum and is academically focused while being engaging and motivating for all learners.  The curriculum is cross-curricular so science and social studies topics will be also be covered and each week a different theme will be used for cross- curriculum learning.

Unit 3: Exciting Safaris and Exotic Animal Adventures
Unit 4: Types of Energy and Famous Scientific Discoveries
Unit 5: The Arts and Types of Homes Around the World
Unit 6: Famous Kid Entrepreneurs and Scientists
