Beginner - Advanced Level
In this personalized one-on-one tutoring class, Algebra 1 students will have the opportunity to master foundational and advanced algebraic concepts with the guidance of an experienced tutor. This class is designed to support learners as they build proficiency in key algebra topics, whether they need help with specific homework assignments or want to explore important concepts in more depth.

The tutoring sessions will cover a wide array of skills, including:

Expressions and Equations: Understanding variables, constants, and coefficients. 

Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities: Solving linear equations and inequalities, including multi-step equations and those with variables on both sides.

Graphing Linear Equations: Plotting and interpreting linear equations on the coordinate plane, including understanding slope and y-intercept.

Systems of Equations: Solving systems of linear equations. 

Polynomials: Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and factoring polynomials, and applying these skills to solve algebraic problems.

Quadratic Equations: Solving quadratic equations using factoring, the quadratic formula, and completing the square, as well as graphing quadratic functions.

Rational Expressions and Equations: Simplifying rational expressions, solving rational equations, and understanding their applications in real-world scenarios.

Radicals and Exponents: Working with square roots, cube roots, and higher-order radicals, and mastering the rules of exponents.

Functions: Exploring the concept of a function, evaluating functions, and understanding domain and range.

Inequalities and Absolute Value: Solving and graphing linear inequalities and absolute value equations and inequalities.

24 hours in advance of your session, you will need to provide the tutor with your learner's current skill level and specific areas of focus, ensuring that the instruction is tailored to meet your learner's unique needs. 

Whether your learner needs help with their homework or guidance on mastering key algebra topics, this flexible and adaptive class will grow and evolve with their progress, offering the focused attention and support needed to build confidence and mastery in Algebra 1.
